About us

From developer to main contractor

Caridon Build is the construction company of the Caridon Group. Since 2009 Caridon has acquired, designed and delivered homes across London and the South East. Now we have turned main contractor, managing and developing projects directly for clients.

How Caridon came to build

Caridon started out housing people, grew into developing homes, and has now turned main contractor.

2009Founded
A gap in the market
Caridon was founded in 2009, when our CEO Mario Carrozzo recognised a gap in the market. During the economic downturn he set up one of London's first rent guarantee schemes, giving landlords a reliable income and standing as guarantor for vulnerable tenants.
GrowthThe group
A housing group with a social purpose
From that first company, Caridon grew into a group working across property management, supported housing, accommodation for young people and energy efficiency. Privately funded and focused on social impact, the group has housed tens of thousands of people.

Developing our own homes
Caridon Developments took the group into development: finding sites, taking them through planning and delivering conversions and new-build homes with in-house planners, contractors and craftsmen. The group has now delivered homes in more than 30 boroughs across London and the South East.

Our approach

Building stronger communities

We work with developers, housing providers and public-sector clients who want a contractor that thinks about the finished place, not just the build programme. That means getting involved early, being straight about cost and risk, and running sites that neighbours are comfortable living next to.

Every project is led by a director and run by our own site management team, with a vetted supply chain and clear reporting from the first meeting to the end of the defects period.
